Why the hell is the Zelda watch pink? 80’s retro has been the hot thing for a while now. So I’m amazed we haven’t seen these sooner. I found a story online about Retro Nintendo Watches. When I heard that they were re-releasing them the memories came flooding back…

The year was 1989 and I was in third grade. A good year overall. But one of the highlights was getting two Nintendo watches. With these things on my arm, I was the Pope of Chilitown. I swear I remember having a Mario one (which they aren’t re-releasing). But the one that I know I had was the Zelda watch. But what I remember more than having them was not having them… Here’s the scenario, those things are addicting, especially when you’re 8 years old. So I had been playing it in class when the teacher told me to take it off, so I throw it toward my bag in the back of the classroom. (I know, not the best idea, but it was only 5 feet away) And that’s the last time I saw it… almost. Conveniently some other kid in my same class just happened to come in wearing one the next day…anger rising…damn, this happened 16 years ago and I’m still pissed.

So now the time has come for my return to watch having glory. But what do you mean my precious Legend of Zelda watch only comes in pink?! and it’s 60 bucks now!? I think this one will remain a memory.
